Overview

● Diploma in Hotel Management is authorized by Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality - CTH and accredited by Hotel and Catering International Management Association. After one year of CTH course, the students will be granted highly recognized diploma in Hotel Management and directly enter year two in the universities. It is a short-cut to British Universities and save quantity of tuition as well. This course also includes 6 months paid internship in hotel industry, which brings the students work experience in addition.
Entry Requirements
● Minimum Age 18+
● Academic: At least finishing secondary school
● English level: Intermediate
English Requirement
● IELTS 5.0
● Cambridge FCE 
● TOEIC 500
● TOEFL 480
Note: If the student hasn't achieved the above English level, he can choose the intensive language course before the start.
Course Details
CTH is a full-time course, being taught in Lewisham, London. It has two parts, 6 months training and 6 months paid internship. Through internship, the students can apply what they learn in the first 6 months. The students will receive quality education which includes lectures, seminars and guest speakers, etc. Besides, they have to spend 10 hours on learning and finishing the homework on their own. The course consists of 10 modules as follows:
● Food and beverage operations
● Food hygiene, health and safety
● Front office operations
● Facilities & Accommodation Operations
● Hospitality Finance
● Introduction to Business Operations
● Marketing
● The Tourism Industry
● The Commercial Computer
● The Global Hospitality Industry
Every module will be assessed in written form. Students have to pass IELTS for their entry into University year 2.
Qualification
Upon finishing the course successfully the students will be granted the widely recognised CTH Diploma in Hotel Management. This certificate is recognised by HCIMA. As an international recognised certificate, it will bring you confidence and competence for your future career, especially in hotel and tourism industry.
We will try best to support the students to apply year 2 of their ideal university after they achieve the diploma and pass IELTS。
Paid Internship
Our partner is the leading provider in the UK for internship and work experience. As a part of the course, all the students will have the opportunity to work in hotel industry.
Accommodation
We provide accommodation during the 12 months. On one hand, we can offer the self-catering student dormitory which locates close to the school and the centre of London; on another hand, some students might life to live with homestay families. Our homestay families mostly live in the south east of London where is very close to the school. The homestay families are all very experienced in receiving students from other countries and will offer quality accommodation and food.
