About Proctor Academy: Affiliated to a church, Proctor Academy is a college preparatory school with a history of more than 150 years, up to now, it maintains the tradition of humanism in teaching. It was recognize by New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and a member with National Association of Independent Schools and Association of Boarding Schools. The experimental and innovative LSP provided in the school are famous around the country, meanwhile, it provides AP courses of 10 subjects. Small class is adopted for teaching, and each class has 12 students, the teacher-student rate is 1:5. The school covers an area of 3000 acres, surrounded by mountains, skiing sites, lakes, campgrounds and trees, Andover town is located at the central area of New Hampshire, 25 mines away only to Concord, and 40 miles away to Hanover.

Service Facilities
Lovejoy library stands at the study center of Fowler, supporting study technique lab and computer center.
Faxon computer center is the hinge of wireless network, and the portable computer program makes it easy for all students to access to the Internet anywhere in the campus. There stand four teaching buildings including Fowler study center (including college consultancy office), Faxon computer center, and wireless network high. The family theatre can hold 420 audiences, there are also rehearse space, dance studio, theatrical costume shop, expendable technical facilities, etc. Students’ dormitories were built between 1792 and 2006, and 12 students stay in one building averagely, which is full the air of family.
In addition, English and foreign language departments are set in Maxwell Savage building
Science, sociology and maths departments are set in Shirley building.
