COOPERATION TO DEVELOP INTERNATIONAL COURSES BETWEEN ‘EASTWEST’ AND ‘EDUCATION & HUMAN CAPITAL RESEARCH CENTRE, THE PEKING UNIVERSITY (EHCRC, The Peking University)’
After having continuous communication and conferment, the Education and Human Capital Research Centre to the Peking University and EastWest have reached an agreement regarding establishing overseas internship bases, developing overseas education and training. Both parties will enhance the training and internship exchange for the international talents according to the goal of “The Training and Use of the International Talents Project”.

With the rapid development in science and technology, increasing detailed work distribution in the international world, accelerating pace of global economic and diversity and integration of culture; to connect the international resources pro-actively and put internationalization in the first priority, or just accept passively or obey blindly are the key winning factors and guarantee of identifying and ensuring a country’s economy stands out in the world competition and these have been a global consensus.
Under this competitive environment, those can adapt to the development of economic globalization are the international talents who become a scarce and expensive resource. As The State General Secretary, Hu Jintao said at the National Education Conference on July 13, 2010: "The people we train today will face the international market, international resources and international competition."
Therefore a project group of ‘International Talents Training and Use Study’ is established by the ‘International Talents Market of China to the International Talents Exchange Association of China’, “the ‘Education and Human Resources Research Centre to the Peking University’, “the Department of Human Resources & Social Security” and “the State Bureau of Foreign Experts of China”. This will give new interpretations of the content and practice to the international talents training and cultural exchange, result promotion and project transfer.
To meet the internship requirements, the research work is mainly engaged in the following aspects:
1) Overseas internship bases
The project team and the EASTWAST (Eastwest Cultural Exchange Ltd) from the U.K. work together setting up overseas internship bases. The current bases cover the U.K., U.S.A., Canada, Japan, Singapore, other countries and regions.
A. Excellent graduates (or staff) to be chosen to overseas international enterprises for study and internship with plan;
B. Overseas excellent students (or staff) to be organized to China for study and internship;
I. Overseas graduates (or staff), "come to China, understand China, and know the world" learning cycle activity;
II. Overseas graduates (or staff) come to China for study and internship in the well-known enterprises or institutions;
C. International professional studies and trainings to be implemented;
2) Cultural exchange
The project team actively studies and explores the new exchange modes for the Chinese traditional culture domestically and internationally. The exchange is based on the principles of highlighting the folk tradition and coverage, fully developing the study advantage for the Chinese traditional culture, strengthening the culture exchange domestically and internationally and carrying forward the Chinese culture.
