Internship Training USA
An internship with a US company is a superb career start and an efficient way to enhance your CV. Participants will also get the chance to improve their understanding of American Business practices and methodologies as well gain valuable insight into American culture and society. Our USA training programme assists international students and young professionals with securing internships and practical training programs in the United States. Our programs help participants to develop the professional skills necessary to work in an increasingly interdependent world.
The Department of State (DoS) has established a new Internship category in addition to the existing Trainee category. Each category has its own new and revised participant eligibility and program requirements.
So at this moment there are two programme types:
1. Internship - A structured and guided, work-based learning in the participant’s academic experience and study as documented in the Individualized Training/Internship Placement Plan (TIPP).
2. Training - A structured and guided, work-based learning which enhances and builds upon the participant’s existing skills in his/her chosen professional field as documented in the TIPP.
Internship training can begin any time during the year and is offered for a minimum of three months to a maximum of eighteen months. As a participant of this programme you will get J-1 exchange visitor visa.
*Please note:* The J-1 exchange visitor visa does not allow international trainees to change the designated host employer or gain employment outside of the original programme or extend their training past 18 months.
